Vaultly is a digital finance app from PayLab, built to make everyday money management simple. Save toward what matters, pay your bills, send money, and borrow when you need to, all in one place.
Why we built it
Nigerian fintech has solved distribution. Tens of millions of people can move money on their phones, and agents reach nearly everywhere. What it has not solved is what happens when something goes wrong: money sitting in "processing" with no timeline, accounts restricted with no explanation, refunds that take weeks, and support that closes a chat without resolving it.
That is the gap we are building into. Not a fourth wallet competing on cashback, but one where you can see where your money is at every step, and where a problem gets picked up before you have to report it.
What Vaultly does
- ✓Wallet and transfers. A naira balance, and instant transfers to any Nigerian bank or Vaultly user.
- ✓Bill payments. Airtime, data, electricity, cable television, betting top-ups and examination fees, each with a receipt.
- ✓Savings Vaults and SafeLock. Goal-based saving, with the option to lock funds until a maturity date.
- ✓Loans. Short-term credit for eligible customers, with the whole cost shown before you accept.
- ✓Cards. Virtual cards instantly, physical cards on request, with full controls.
What we do not do
We do not offer foreign currency accounts, international transfers or investment products. Doing one currency properly matters more to us than doing several adequately, and each of the products we have left out would need a different licence and a different promise. If that changes, we will say so here first.
How we lend
We never ask for your contacts or your gallery, and we never make access to them a condition of borrowing. If you fall behind, we speak to you and nobody else. Late fees are capped at a tenth of what you borrowed and cannot grow past that. The full cost is on the screen before you accept, not discovered at default.
How we build
Features move from idea to app based on what people actually struggle with. We ship quickly and we do not cut corners on the parts that hold someone's money. Where something is not built yet, we say so rather than implying otherwise.
